A social, or "personal" network that focuses on real friends? Start-up venture Path is (for now) all about sharing photos with a limited network of 50 friends. I like where this is headed in terms of quality. Is this a true challenger to mass market social networking? (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) At last, there may be a truly selective approach to creating a meaningful network without all the noise of the Facebook and Twitter universe. This is a little idea with huge implications. Is it the gated community version of the socialsphere? Who are your fifty?
